Bradford BOOST
Bradford BOOST is a new Arts Council England-funded programme for young adults aged 19–30 living in Bradford District.
It is designed to help you explore creative careers, build practical skills, gain experience and make useful industry connections.
What can you get involved in?
Bradford BOOST will give you the chance to explore different areas of the creative industries, including:

music and music production

film and media
-
live events
-
sound and lighting
-
promotion and marketing
-
creative production
-
technical and behind-the-scenes roles
You do not need to have your career mapped out already. The programme is there to help you try things, build confidence and work out what direction you want to take.
What will BOOST offer?
You can take part in practical workshops, work with creative professionals, access mentoring and gain experience in real creative settings.
There will also be opportunities to:

Who is it for?
Bradford BOOST is for young adults who:

are aged 19–30
-
live in Bradford District
-
are interested in creative work or want to explore a creative career
You might already be making music, creating content, performing, filming, producing or helping with events.
Or you might simply be interested in the creative industries and want to find out where you could fit.
Why Bradford BOOST?
There are lots of different jobs across the creative industries, but knowing how to get started can be difficult.
BOOST is about making those routes easier to understand and easier to access.
It gives you the chance to build skills, gain experience and make connections that can help you move towards work, training, further education or your own creative projects.
We want Bradford BOOST to be accessible.
If there is something that might make it harder for you to take part, speak to us. We can look at practical support around access, travel and participation.

Bradford BOOST is led by All Star and funded by Arts Council England.
R-BFD Music Project
The R-BFD music programme funded by Youth Music aims to inspire the next generation of creative talent found across the Bradford and Craven district.
The programme aims to celebrate the diversity that already exists in Bradford and amplify the contribution that our communities bring to make Bradford so vibrant.
HAF - Holiday activities and food programme
Children on benefits-related free school meals are eligible for a free place at a HAF holiday club during the Easter, summer and Christmas school holidays.
HAF clubs provide free fun activities and a healthy meal for eligible children, including children with SEND or additional needs.
B SAFE
lWhat Is B-Safe?
B-Safe is a school transition programme designed and developed by All Star.
It’s designed for Year 5 and 6 pupils who are preparing for the move to secondary school, a key stage where knowledge, confidence, life and safety skills matter most.
Through six lively, discussion-based workshops, B-Safe gives pupils the tools to make smart, safe choices - in school, online, and in the community.
In 2024/25 alone, 28 schools took part, with 324 workshops delivered in 170 academic calendar days to 7,337 pupils.
Your Story' in partnership with Barnardo's
Filmed and edited over a three month period (late 2023), ‘Your Story’ is a unique storytelling experience documenting the life, times, experiences and journey of parents, carers and young people with lived experience of SEN, Autism and Neurodiversity living in the Bradford district and surrounding areas; covering the following topics: Life at Home, Early Years, Three Young Women, Parent Journey and Life at Work.
