Join the award-winning Healthy Minds Apprenticeship and help make a difference for children and young people across Bradford District and Craven. Applications are now open for young people who are passionate about mental health, wellbeing and creating positive change.
Passionate about mental health and supporting others?
The Healthy Minds Apprenticeship is a unique 12-month paid opportunity for young people aged 16 to 24 to gain hands-on experience in mental health and wellbeing, while developing skills, confidence and career pathways.
As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside young people, schools, community organisations and health partners to:
Champion the voices of young people and influence decision-makers
Help shape projects, campaigns and services that support local communities
Deliver workshops in schools and colleges to raise awareness and challenge stigma around mental health
Create content and support events that inspire others to get involved
Build valuable experience while making a real difference
No previous work experience is needed - just passion, motivation and a willingness to learn.
Who can apply?
To apply, you must:
Be aged 16 to 24
Have a Bradford postcode (Living in Bradford)
Be passionate about young people’s mental health and wellbeing
Be able to commit to the 12-month programme
Be willing to learn and take part in training and placements
What you’ll gain

A fully funded Level 3 qualification

Over 60 hours of specialist training, including Mental Health First Aid and Trauma-Informed Practice
