On Saturday 13th July we attended Wonderfest and were nominated for the “Dream Team” award. We were very grateful to win the award and receive recognition for the work we have done with Born in Bradford. We always enjoy working with BIB and have all gained experience in being involved in research. On the day there were different stalls with information about science and research as well as some activities like henna. We also got to take part in a game show where we answered questions and gave opinions on different topics like social media, the Bradford area and statistics.
They premiered their first part of the Age of Wonder documentary and we all enjoyed watching and are looking forward to the next parts. The young people involved in filming the documentary were on a panel and answered questions about their experience filming the documentary and their opinions on issues they face as young people living in Bradford.
