Allstar Online: Expanding How We Support People

At Allstar, we love delivering sessions in person and working directly with people. It’s a big part of who we are. But we also know that not everyone can attend at set times — work, family, travel, health, and confidence barriers can all get in the way.

To make our support easier to access, we’ve developed a new online learning function that will run across our projects. It means people can learn in their own time, on their own terms, while still being connected to the work we do. It also helps us reach more communities and offer support beyond a single location.

Pathways to Employment: Our First Online Course

The first programme to launch on this new platform is Pathways to Employment, created by The Cellar Trust and Allstar as part of the Pathways to Employment service, funded through the Healthy Working Lives Programme.

The course offers practical, straightforward guidance for people looking for work or needing support in their current role. It brings together real experiences and insights from a wide mix of people, making the content relatable and grounded in everyday reality. The aim is simple: to provide support that helps people move forward with confidence.

Healthy Working Lives is a joint programme of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, and we’re proud to contribute to this wider effort.

What Comes Next

This online function will be used across more of our projects over the coming months. It’s a practical way for us to increase reach, improve access, and continue supporting communities in ways that work for them, whether they join us in person or online.
