Raising Voices and Having Fun #HAF2026

School holidays usually mean fun, food, and making memories. This time, though, our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) session offered something even more special: a direct connection to Parliament.
The day was filled with exciting activities, delicious food, and new friendships. For our young people, the best part was having an open Q&A session with Anna Dixon, MP for Shipley.
Our group didn't hold back. They quizzed Anna on what her role as an MP actually looks like day-to-day, and then took turns sharing their own big visions, answering the question: “
"What would you do if you were Prime Minister?” Seeing our young people engage so thoughtfully with local leadership and speak up about the changes they want to see was incredibly inspiring. A huge thank you to Anna Dixon for taking the time to listen to, encourage, and inspire the next generation.
We are very proud to offer these valuable opportunities with our great partner, Bee Well Connected. Days like this are only possible because of strong local teamwork. We sincerely thank Bradford Council and the Department for Education for their funding and support, which help make HAF days possible for young people across our dist
