World Mental Health Day 2024: Prioritising Mental Health in the Workplace

ree

October 10th, marks World Mental Health Day, a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues and promoting support for those affected. This year's theme, "It is time to prioritise mental health in the workplace," underscores the importance of creating a mentally healthy environment for employees.

At Allstar, we believe that fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace is essential for the well-being of our team. Research consistently shows the positive impact of talking on mental health. Tea & Talk sessions offer a casual and welcoming space for open conversations, allowing employees to connect with their peers, reduce stress, and enhance their overall well-being.

To celebrate World Mental Health Day, we asked our team members about their favourite biscuits to enjoy while having a cuppa and chatting with colleagues. Their responses highlighted the diverse and delicious preferences within our team.

As we continue to prioritise mental health in the workplace, we encourage everyone to take a moment to connect with colleagues, have a cuppa, and enjoy a favourite biscuit. Small acts of self-care and social connection can go a long way in promoting overall well-being.

Let's work together to create a mentally healthy and supportive workplace for everyone.
